4-week Jackaroo Jillaroo Adventure Package

The 5-day Jackaroo Jillaroo Adventure package is just a taste of the life you've always dreamt of. If you're serious about a job on the land, hoping to gain experience and the skills necessary to be competitive in applying for a rural position, or have bought your own farm and would like to learn more skills, the 4-week package provides the chance to live the life working with us, dealing with the day-to-day operation of a working property breeding cattle and horses.

Our business is unique in that we are almost self-sufficient, making our own bridles, stirrup leathers, shoeing our own horses, undertaking all our own veterinary work (other than anaesthetics), breeding and breaking in all our own horses. All supplies are bought in bulk, including grain, which is boiled in our specially designed gas-fired cauldron to feed our horses.

The 4-week discounted package targets those wishing to stay for longer periods to gain the necessary skills to find employment, or run their own property.Participants in the 4-week package take part in a comprehensive program learning new skills every day.

We are not a job agency and therefore cannot guarantee work. We provide you with the skills necessary to be competitive in seeking employment.

Price includes:

Accommodation; meals and activities.

Activities can include: Cattle mustering; horse-riding; sheep shearing (seasonal); whip cracking; fencing; horse breaking; handling foals; horse shoeing; swimming with the horses in the river; and campfire evenings.
